Harcourt Road :   Collecting and Showcasing parallel histories of Community Organising in two streets of the same name In Sheffield and Hong Kong

Harcourt Hole

Located at the intersection of Harcourt Road and Northumberland Road, Harcourt Hole was once the site of the British Glass Laboratories. Now owned by renowned Sheffield-trained boxer Naseem Hamed, this plot of land remains undeveloped due to the challenging bedrock conditions. Over time, nature has reclaimed the area, transforming it into an unexpected urban forest.

Next time you pass by, take a moment to slow down and observe the surprising growth emerging from Harcourt Hole.
