Harcourt Road :   Collecting and Showcasing parallel histories of Community Organising in two streets of the same name In Sheffield and Hong Kong

Books displayed at the Mobile Museum

“Weeds: The Story of Outlaw Plants” is recommended by Sunshine Wong, co-director of Bloc Projects, in response to the weed drawing activities C & G hosted next to Hong Kong’s Harcourt Road.

“Wilding” is recommended by a visitor to the Mobile Museum, in response to the exhibits about the environment, such as the Harcourt Hole, the Green Space Survey at BBEST etc.

“New Holistic Herbal” is recommended by a Harcourt Road resident (Sheffield) who cares a lot about the green spaces and eco-environment in the neighbourhood.

“The 79 days that disappeared” is lent by a Sheffield Hongkonger for the Mobile Museum. This book has many images of Harcourt Road, Hong Kong, during the 79-day-long Umbrella Movement to protest for universal suffrage in 2014.
