Irish Whistle made by David O’Hagan (a resident of Harcourt Road in Sheffield), was used in the exhibition opening performance by Juliana Day and Manon McCoy LaFay. (https://www.howardmusic.co.uk/)
Juliana Day and Manon McCoy played a few traditional Irish songs during the exhibition opening with the made-in-Sheffield Irish Whistles. During the opening, they also played “Glory To Hong Kong” with a recorder and harp. It is regarded as the anthem of Hongkongers, currently banned by HK-CCP government. No music distributor dares to put it on their streaming platforms nowadays, but we can always share music in person with our own voice and instrument. (Thanks Juliana and Manon.)
